Amy’s style combines a photojournalistic approach with creative formals and modern portraits. Her romantic imagery focuses on all the little details and captures the genuine love story of the day. Amy strives to make her photographs clean, bright and classic.
“My favorite part of a wedding to photograph is the bride walking up to her groom at the beginning of the ceremony. Capturing the emotion during that special moment is so precious to me. I still remember the first time I captured that moment for someone. The tears were rolling down my cheeks and I still get teary-eyed thinking of it!”
Amy loves capturing the emotional connection between her subjects. “My heart is in photographing life’s milestones: weddings, births, achievements, graduations. I want my clients to have a tangible way to remember how they felt at that time in their lives. Brightening someone’s day with the happiness captured in my photos is why I pursued photography.”
Fun facts about Amy:
I like to get a run in first thing in the morning before my family gets up. Then it’s a cup of coffee.
I always pack water, gatorade, and a few snacks for weddings. Not just for me, but for the bride and groom as well. Since I am with the couple all day, I try my best to make sure they are hydrated and not starving.
My favorite food is cookies. I eat healthy most of the time, but cookies are my weakness. I make a mean chocolate chip cookie too!
I love my Friday nights! Always pizza and a movie with my family. (Unless I’m shooting a wedding!)
